I had compartment syndrome to my lower left leg Oct. 1, this year when a hand truck slammed on it. I had emergency double fasciotomy done,(incisions on both sides of leg) but they were able to close me up. Wound vacs for two weeks. Having trouble with infection, but moving in the right direction. I have trouble with my foot swelling and my calf muscle was nearly dead. Another hour and they would have amputated. God bless you and I hope you recover well.
