not happy with the fact that they never sat down to talk about everything that troubled them with Kevin (it just feels like an easy wrap without depth), it’s great to see them happy together again. I just hope that nothing happens with Noah and Maddie like some people are speculating… let Luke and Noah peacefully be together for God’s sake. This may be a soap but not every storyline has to revolve around a break-up.
NukeOakdale, I think we’re in agreement here because this has to be one of my favorite episodes as well. The Luke/Noah scenes are just so beautiful. Superb writing, and acting by both guys - there’s so much longing and love. I loved all the reenactments of last Christmas (Luke asking Noah to stay at the farm and then saying he doesn’t want to pressure him, the mistletoe, the “I’m so in love with you” “Same here”…). Don’t you just adore nervous Noah and anxious Luke? They were the epitome of adorable in the beginning of this episode. Exactly as you said: like they’re newly dating.

Oh those expressive puppy dog eyes! Van is amazing at conveying Luke’s feelings using his eyes. Watch how uncomfortable he was after Noah invited Maddie; you can tell Luke was lying. Then watch his eyes as they start to kiss… Van has to feel really comfortable to show such sincerity.
